A full stack sports academy management platform for managing coaches, coordinators, training, attendance, and payments, with a cloud deployed ASP.NET Core backend.
React Native.NETMsSQL
A full stack sports academy management system designed to streamline training center operations through a centralized mobile platform.(Intern project , Role is Full stack developer ).
The application supports administrators, coordinators, coaches, and athletes through role based workflows. Core functionality includes QR based attendance tracking, training management, payment collection, and financial reporting.
The mobile application was developed using React Native and communicates with an ASP.NET Core Web API backend. Microsoft SQL Server is used for relational data management, while the backend is deployed on AWS to provide a remotely accessible and scalable application infrastructure.
Problem
Managing sports academy operations across administrators, coordinators, coaches, and athletes required multiple manual processes for attendance, payments, and training management.
Attendance collection and payment tracking were particularly dependent on manual workflows, making it difficult to maintain accurate records and provide timely operational and financial information.
Solution
Developed a centralized mobile based management platform that digitizes core academy operations.
The system provides role based access for administrators, coordinators, coaches, and athletes while integrating QR based attendance, payment tracking, financial reporting, and training workflows through a centralized backend API.
Architecture
The application follows a client server architecture with a React Native mobile client communicating with an ASP.NET Core Web API through RESTful endpoints.
The backend handles authentication, authorization, business logic, validation, and data access, while SQL Server provides persistent relational storage for users, roles, training activities, attendance, payments, and related business entities.

Reliability
Implemented server side validation for critical operations.
Used relational database constraints and relationships to maintain data consistency.
Prevented invalid or duplicate attendance operations through backend validation.
Centralized business logic in the backend rather than relying solely on mobile side validation.
Implemented API error handling to prevent application failures from propagating to the mobile client.
Security
Implemented role based access control for administrators, coordinators, and coaches.
Restricted API operations according to the authenticated user's role and permissions.
Performed server side authorization rather than relying only on frontend restrictions.
Validated incoming API requests to prevent invalid data from entering the system.
Protected sensitive application communication through HTTPS in the deployed environment.
Results
Delivered a centralized mobile platform for managing sports academy operations.
Digitized QR based attendance and payment tracking workflows.
Implemented role based access for administrators, coordinators, and coaches.
Deployed the ASP.NET Core backend to AWS for remote application access.
Built RESTful APIs to support mobile application workflows.
Designed the system to support 1,000+ concurrent users as a target capacity.
Lessons learned
Mobile Development
Gained experience handling asynchronous API operations, authentication, loading states, errors, and network dependent workflows in a React Native application.
Cloud Deployment
Gained practical experience deploying and configuring a backend application in AWS and understanding the differences between local development and a cloud hosted environment.
